Notice of Motion to Amend the Rules and Regulations of the State Bar of Georgia | Part VIII. Continuing Legal Education

No earlier than 30 days after the publication date of this Notice, the State Bar of Georgia will file Motion to Amend the Rules and Regulations for the Organization and Government of the State Bar of Georgia (Motion 2024-2) pursuant to the order of the Supreme Court of Georgia dated December 6, 1963 (219 Ga. 873) and amended by subsequent orders, and published in the State Bar of Georgia Handbook.

The exact text of the proposed amendments can be found 在这里. A copy of supporting documentation submitted to the Board of Governors for consideration can be found 在这里. Any member of the State Bar of Georgia who wishes to obtain a printed copy of these proposed amendments may do so by sending such request to the following address:

I 在这里by certify that the following is the verbatim text of the proposed amendments as approved by the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia. Any member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia who desires to object to part or all of these proposed amendments to the rules is reminded that he or she may only do so in the manner provided by Rule 5-102 before Aug. 19, 2024. Any objections received or filed after said date will not be considered. This statement and the verbatim text of the proposed amendments are intended to comply with the notice requirements of Rule 5-101.
